I regularly get them on my left side and have had it cauterized three times. I use a Tampon to help for a clot and stop it but this was a five tampon event in my nose over just two hrs. I also just let it run in the sink for awhile out of frustration! Should I use the DDAVP NOSE spray in this case??
I think it does but it is very expensive to buy even with insurance! Iām guessing it may even need a prior authorization from your Hematologist or PCP. I would definitely see if they have a physicians sample available too!
Is that over the counter ?
Nasal QR is an over the counter Alternative and cheaper than ddavp
Does this stuff really work? I was in the ER last week with my first unstoppable nosebleed. I packed my nose and headed for ER. by the time I got there, it was coming out of my mouth. I must have been a real sight. Blood all down the front of me. Needless to say, they got me in quick and took care of me right away.
