I have a mild case and I am not anemic. But if you have been taking Vicodin or other opiates check your testosterone. Prolonged use of pain pills can drop your testosterone levels and the symptoms are headaches, muscle weakness, cold sweats, feeling tired, and more.

I also have vwd and get anemic easily. I am not prescribed meds and just take iron supplements when the bruising begins to show. I only have to take iron for a few days and it helps.
