My son has SSI and I fought it for a yr or so without lawyers and he was approved

Yes it took me 6 months from the day I applied for SSI & he qualified..having vonwillebrand.he has a life expectancy..

My son is severe a and I did not have a lawyer. Just keep fighting it

What type/ how severe were u? And did u have a lawyer help to get approved at that age?... My oldest son, same B moderate as his little brother, turns 18 tomorrow...

May I ask, what type hemophilia/ how severe? Any additional conditions that helped with 'disabled' qualifications?
