Oh I had terrible periods some times they last 2 weeks sometimes I have two a month and I have Von Willebrand
I have von Willebrand disease, I pretty much have my. Nonstop with maybe 2 to 3 days off in between I am 45 years old I have had to have multiple blood transfusions
Yes, I'm "just a carrier" but ended up having hysterectomy at 35 because after my tubal ligation I had major bleeding issues. It was awful. I had either been on birth control or been pregnant since I was fifteen. So when my last child was born and I had a tubal ligation periods became a major issue for me.
its pretty common with VwD, from what I hear.... a great resource is a local hemophilia treatment center.
I have and wound up having an uterine amblaysia but I was done having kids
Yes. That's actually how I was diagnosed with VonWillaBrands I was having prolonged periods that began to become alarming and my doctor began running some test and got abnormal results so they did further testing to get that result.
