While people with hemophilia A are known to suffer from bleeding, numerous other symptoms can also be a burden, including pain. Members of MyHemophiliaTeam who have hemophilia A responded to an online survey to share how other symptoms impact their daily life. Members described pain, in particular, as having a significant impact on quality of life, including disrupting sleep, limiting work, causing social withdrawal, and leading to inactivity.

Source: What Endpoints Matter Most in Hemophilia? April, 2017 survey of MyHemophiliaTeam members conducted in partnership with Bioverativ. Question: In the past 3 months, in what ways, if any, has pain impacted your quality of life? Check all that apply. (Sample size = 26 adults and 28 caregivers).
